I seam to have blown out my rear end. I was wondering how many have had the same problem with there LS. If you did encounter this how much was it to get rebuilt? Also could you tell me what gears I have and if it is a 8.8 rear? 2000 ls sport v8

Thanks

This isn't a very common problem in the LS. AFAIK, only the LS, Jag S-Type, and the last model of T-Bird used this rear-end, so your choices are going to be limited. The axle ratio is encoded on the info sticker on the side of the dash (inside the driver's door), but it should be 3.31.

Thanks for all the info. Jaguar rear sounds expensive!
