The peice that attaches to the blend door that you move to get heat. Can i use plastic epoxy to fix it vs buying a new one for $85 at the dealer? If i recall doesnt max sell it for like $6 ?

Also since the " temp fix" for heat didnt work does that def mean that the arm is broke?

I superglued the broke piece, and tie wrapped it. Works like a charm.

Max sells them for more like 25, I'd rather spend the money to replace it, rather than trying to fix it. Good chance it could fail again and seeing how you have to almost pull out the whole dash, is it really worth the risk? So spend the money and then follow the tech article found here: http://www.markviii.org/LOD2/blend_door_reinforce.htm
To reinforce the new actuator.

Well i got the dash all torn apart and have realized that getting the motor's bolt's out is going to be a pain in the ass. Do you guy's get the bolts from the glovebox hole or under the blend door itself?

I got to the bolts through the glove box. You have to get the dash forward enough to get at the screws. It is a pain, but can be done.
