I got a set of black chrome wrenches. and I've been looking at some Black Chrome Wheels .

is this done by Powder Coating ?

reason I ask is I want to get a Black Chrome Grille for My Town Car

I've seen black chrome exhaust tips on ebay. After searching it, seem to be an electoplating process after the final chrome is done. If you google it their are places you can send your grill to. It says you can add darkness to it by waxing it.
