Black 98 5spd conversion on Ebay

That is in my neck of the woods. I sent him a ebay message telling him I was a member here and that I wish I would have met him before the sale.

Why does everyone put those wheels on backwards?

Good question! Apparently some folks think they look better when they look like they're "digging" into the air instead of flowing with the rotation of the wheels. If that makes any sense...:) I've heard some say that with the spokes pointing forward, it directs more cooling air into the brakes... Then again, it could be that they just don't have a friggin' clue how they're supposed to be mounted and simply don't care.

Ha ha ha!!! That's what I think! I pointed that out to some guy in Montana with a nice, low mile car on eBay and he hadn't even noticed. I especially love it when the front rims are backwards and the rear forward. Looks like the car will scrunch up when you step on the gas!

It happens more often than you think, and the culprits are the people at the tire shops when you buy new tires and get them rotated.
This is true. That's why I really like my tire guy. I've been buying tires from the same guy for 20+ years. The '97 LSC is only the second car I've had with directional wheels (first was my '93 T-Bird that I put '89 Super Coupe wheels on) and he always makes a point to make sure he has the directional tread tires on the correct wheels before he starts mounting the tires. It would be nice if all tire shops were that courteous.

Last time I had tires mounted on directionals the guy did 2 backwards. I had to convince the guy they were backwards. They gave in eventually, but I would think if you mounted tires you would be able to recognize directional wheels.

thats why i didnt buy it. lol. when i first say it i was like uh ho my wife is going to be pissed lol.
