That sounds like the oil filter adapter gasket. do a search on "oil filter adapter gasket"
and you should find a lot of information, its an inexpensive part, and if your handy enough to change the oil, you should be able to do it.

i had the same problem too. i was parked and i had a good amount of oil under my car. i changed out the oil filler adapter gasket and that solved the problem.

Yep. Me too. Took about an hour to change out and $7 for the gasket at NAPA.
