I would say that the V6 engine has way less problems that the V8 has. No timing chain/tensioners problem,lower end rap problem ,no sparkplug well Orings. Then peeps might say there are alot more V8's around so those #'s will go up.

I used to see more V8's but since Im out for another LS, ive been seeing about half and half V8/v6, V8s usually have about 130k on them, and from past experience it seems that thats the breaking point for alotta stuff lol, and the V6'es are usually in mint condition, going for more, none say "need to sell ASAP" and whatnot
