Hello, I haven't been around here much as of late. Thought I would share a few PICS and a short story. After I painted the car last year, it wasn't 6 months when some A$$ took out the driver side door. Not terrible, but still sucked. I waited tell the winter was over to redo it all. I went ahead and repainted the hole car. I wanted it all to match and there were a few things I wasn't happy with the first time around. Some of you might remember the larger strips I had put on it, well, I decided that I liked it a lot better this way(small strip) so, I'm staying with this. I just cleaned up under the hood a little, I still have to give it much more attention and do it right, but here it is today and I love it as much, if not more, than ever before. I hope everyone has been enjoying LIFE.

Greg

It's a color we mixed. It's base was something like Sun Burst Copper. Then we added Spectramaster Yellow. Thanks!

Great looking car. Love the gen 2 door panels in a gen 1. I see the power wire for the stereo, lets see it.

+1

I hope the stereo is as clean as the rest of the car.

A job well done!

Good to see you back around, I've been wondering where you'd been.
Sorry to hear that the car was hit. It's great to see you fixed it and put it back the way you wanted though, it looks amazing!
I've always really liked your car and hopefully someday mine will look as sweet :)

I like the two tone... I think I'd have had to run it all the way back though... anyhow, the colors look great!! And i like the little stripe too!

I'm not big on the color matching of the interior; I think perhaps there's a bit too much orange inside.

But, don't take my small views as criticism; the car does look great and I must say, execution of the over-all design is superb!

Car looks very sharp! I like it. Great job!!! Now put bubble wrap around it so you won't get any more dents! LOL

Thanks for the comments all. As far as the stereo goes. It's not ready for prime time yet. The 12's in the back deck aren't hooked up yet. The system is the Pioneer DEH-P6000UB (I recommend it highly) Infinity 2060s Components (6 1/2 & separate tweeter) Pioneer 4-ways in the back seat and the 12's in the deck. An Alpine mono MRP-M500 running the subs and a Rockford 450.4 Punch running the main speakers. It's not way over the top, but even without the subs working, it sounds kicka$$ to me. Thanks again for the comments.

Honestly? The color isn't my taste. But it's still very nicely done, and I generally have very conservative taste. I do like the painted panels on the inside, dresses it up nicely.

Where did you pipe the wire through the firewall on that side? I sliced through a grommet behind the glove box on the PS for mine...

Thanks Chicken, it's nice to see some of the old names still hanging strong. I ran the wire through the rubber boot behind the brake.
