Well My 01 LS'C' branded has shown its age and been in the shop since the first of the year. Fuel pump went out, and after mechanic replaced it the computer fritzed out. Mechanic states he is getting codes indicating fuel pump issue.

He knows it is not the pump, its a Delphi and tests fine.

Anyhow, once he gets it on the road to me again I will be selling it as I decided I am too old to be going for car repairs and bought a newish vehicle within factory warranty time frame to take me to retirement.

If anyone wants it, it has 142000ish miles but loved an maintained by a little old lady from Hemet and me. Will give anyone here first dibs against Los Angeles marketplace.

Hate to see a fellow LS'er go but i can understand the age thing im certainly no spring chicken myself anymore. Hopefully you're new car will be trouble free for many years.

I clicked into this because I can relate to your situation. As I came on to retirement I thought all this "foolishness" as my Grandma used to call working on your car, would come to an end. Guess what? Something weird has happened in my head and I am unable to trust anybody to do it for me. At septuagenarian age. You will most likely be back eventually as the new cars are so far from my style and driving type that I am glad I kept the Lincoln. Does any sentient human really need to be parked by a computer?
