I’m back in the saddle of another Mark VIII. Please see this link for my long time ownership and loss of my 1993 Mark VIII…..

http://www.lincolnvscadillac.com/showthread.php?t=38257

I picked up a 1998 Mark VIII LSC with 55k miles.

The good
- Previous owner is 74-years old
- Previous owner didn’t know how to turn traction control off!!
- Car was in 1-family for 6-years and garaged kept the whole time.
- Interior is in very, very good condition
- 55k miles
- Blend door was recently replaced
- Both HID bulbs replaced between 42k miles and current!!
- Neon rear light works
- Rear window molding is perfect?! (best evidence the car has been garage kept most if its life)

The bad
- Paint isn’t perfect, but good for a 10-year old car
- Chrome on rims is beginning to peel, but I’ll probably switch to my silver painted 10-spokes anyway
- White – I don’t love the color, but I didn’t have a lot of time to look around
- No front license plate bracket……..trying to order one of these now. I can’t wait to see how much it will cost to paint!
- HID housings not perfect, but not as bad as I’ve seen. I should be able to polish or sand these to make them look better.

This is my Daily Driver as I have a Vette as my nice car and an 84 LeBaron convertible for summer cruising.

Pics just after I brought her home. I didn’t even detail yet…………

great buy !!!... looks like a deal to me..

check into it .. but i heard that jersey is dropping the front license plate law.. so you might not need that bracket..
