autopage alarm

does anybody have a twoway alarm by autopage installed on their ls? if so, are you having any problems with it randomly going off and saying its a door trigger? i was wondering if this is a wiring issue with the ls maybe randomly sending surges through the electrical system? please help. more info 2001 ls8 autopage rf 420 lcd.

i had something that would say was similar to this and my installer fixed it somehow. it would unlock my doors i believe after a few minutes and he said it was due to the car not shutting off completely and sending some kind of signal. i would not know for sure but it sounds similar i guess

there is a problem if the installer just directly connected the door trigger wire from the alarm brain to either the car's dome light wire or the door trigger wires. normaly the wires will show ground when the doors are open and be an open circuit when at rest, but there is a very small amount of resistance when the car sits and goes to "sleep" after about 45 minutes, a lot of alarm systems do not handle this properly and think that the door is being opened your installer needs to relay isolate the wire so that it doesnt false alarm.
