AutoDim with HIDs (gen2)

I recently installed my HIDs but I noticed that if I keep the lights to auto dim when I start the car they dont turn on. I have to turn the switch to the right to the normal ON position for the headlights. Is there something I missed to not cause the power to run to the HIDs when its selected on auto dim? I can move it back to auto dim and they will stay illuminated.

Its not much of a problem, I am just use to cars with the auto dim haha.

How did you power the lights and what brand are they?

I just took the power cord leading to the old ballasts and spliced them into the kit from DDM. I then just plugged them back into where they originally came from down at the bottom of the radiator. Was there anything else I had to change or remove besides the stock ballasts?

Nope that should get it. I am running the DDM slim ballast kit with my wires connected the same way, only difference is I soldered mine to the pigtail. My autolights work everytime.
