Hey guys, I need your advice. I just had both front knuckles replaced as well as the tie rods. Anyway, I was driving today and at about 70mph I hear what sounded like a helicopter hovering over my car, I sped up and it got louder sounded like it was gonna land on top of my head. Turns out it was my car, but I have no idea where to start looking. Anyone encountered this before.

You probably got a tire getting ready to blow out. Belt separation is a bitch. Take it to a shop and have them checked.

Could be a wheel bearing. If you swerve from side to side it should go away for a second. If not then would look at tires.

def a wheel bearing..i just had the same issue. Mine was the rear passenger one, ended up costing around 200-250

Tires maybe

You may have something caught in the read grooves of the tires. It sounds like maybe a tread separation or broken belts. You can see broken belts from the outside of the tire sometimes,,,there will be s sig-sag of the tread pattern in one area. Let us know what you find....

i just got a wheel bearing changed..even at around 30mph i heard it and at higher speeds it got louder.if thats whats happenin to you juan id say its a bearin...but mine was at low speeds not just at 70.....so idk..

Thanks for the replies guys. Having just replaced the front knuckles and tie rods, I'll have to check the rear end now. It seems to happen only on certain roads, but it is very annoying, I'll try the weaving and see if that affects the symptom.
