ashtray spring

I have an 03-06 center console. The ashtray section with the pop out tray and the flip up door with the 2 lighters in it. The part that flips up with the two lighters in it has a spring on the left side. Mine fell out and I am wondering if anyone has had this problem?? If so how does it go back in?

any help would be great

FYI: only one is a lighter and the other is a power port.

My ahstray won't stay closed now since I opened it today. How do you go about fixing it? Any suggestions?

maybe when you opened it it slightly tilted up (which is how you fully remove it). try pushing it down a bit and see if it goes back in
