I was just looking into different scantools and software, not quite sure what i was reading. I have a basic scan tool that reads and resets codes but the ability to read different parameters via a laptop looks interesting. Monitoring real time seems great too. I read some reviews that stated the refresh rate wasnt fast enough to provide true real time data with certain tools and software? Also read that cars with the CAN system (LS) provide faster data.
Anyway, wanted to see if anyone had any specific recommendations regarding hardware or software types. Thanks!
