Anyone replace an a/c compressor on an VIII?

Anyone have any tips etc to replacing the a/c compressor in a '94 VIII?
Will I need to drain/remove the rad like the manual says?

no rad drain,
after system is evacuated you remove the connections to the compresor and i think its only 3 bolts(10mm if i remember correctly)and it falls off,of course remove serp belt too,i dont think there is anything to it,but someone else can chime in here.

I found out you can't take the compressor out from the bottom without doing it the way the manual says (pulling the rad) or dropping the sub frame...

You can how ever take it out from the top quite easily once the air box/filter is out of the way! Much better access to two of the bolts as well

Thanks to NYC LSC and everyone for helping At least it turned out not to bad a job to do...

ps: If you buy a compressor and it says it has oil in it... double check! There was none in mine even though the box and instructions said it did!
