i was wondering if anyone else on here is running a wet kit. Where did you mount your nossle? I have mine mounted right on top of intake tube right maybe 6 inches before the TB.

I have already tested it and it worked good. However they do bend over a little and I dont know if they are kinking or not. So I went over to fill my bottle again at a local tuner, who does n20 installed and one of the guys looked at it and said my lines were kinked and i should remount my nossle.

i cut into my windshield wiper cowl maybe an inch and a half by and inch and the hood sorta presses down a bit but not much.

the wet kit nossle has to be no more than a foot away from the TB, so that leaves me with tight options since on the drivers side of the intake tube most of the throttle linkages is there... so i think im going to remount it on the passenger side, side of the intake tube but the problem being the fuel rail adapter where i tie in for the fuel part of the kit and its only so long.

anyone run a wet setup on here, wherd ya mount everything?

i realy dont want to redo everything because i did have it running and i would rather not have to secound guess if there kinked or not. luckily i havnt mounted the solenoids yet for this reason i knew ide have to go back and redo stuff, it never goes perfrect the first time.

i did search for wet kits engine shots when my kit first arrived but all i saw were dry kits before the mafs.

so if you have a wet! please help!

I'd put nozzle on the side, something like that .What brand are you using?

I'm running wet shot but it's not on a mark viii though ,it's on my 96 GT

I mounted mine exactly where 95sc said he recommended. In his pic, he has to red circles... mine is on the front, about 3-4 inches from the throttle body. I use a shark nozzle. Don't mount it too close... you wont get a good mist into both sides of the tb.

i have a shark nozzle i guess, it combines them into one single nozzle if thats what you mean by shark nozzle. its a dynotune mustang gt wet kit.

i have it mounted on the top of the intake tube close to the TB, but the hood is bending the lines more than i like. i can either get a new hood or mount it in a different location.

i was gonna stick on the passenger side but the way the intake tube snakes around made me uneasy.

i have the same type nozzle as the GT picture. yea i thought abotu putting on the side but it would have to be closer to the TB then i like with the bend and also im not sure if my fuel line will reach. it taps in where the Schrader valve used to be.

look REALLY HARD in this pic. You'll see where mine is.

ok great thanks, thing is... my kit tapped into the fuel line via the test port (shrader valve) i believe it will reach to your location but i cant be sure. that seems like a very good place, i dont think my lines are kinking but i really should have mounted it where you did. How did you go about capping off the one resonator with black duct tape?

Can you not remove the padding under the hood and cut into the bottom layer. Would that give you enough room? I had to do so to get my engine to fit. You can gain almost and inch.

hahahahaha I looked at this and looked at the pics thinking... wierd looking LS! HAHAHAHA Getting hard to keep my mind on the mark. I havent juiced the mark but in the LS I made a custom intake tube for the wet kit. That allowed my the 6-12 inches recommended for wet nozzle instalation! I'll look at the mark tonight if you want and throw some ideas up, but it seems like enough people are chiming in

try mounting under the tube... and instead of going from the schrader valve, pipe it from the hard fuel line.... hides it better, and might help your fit issue!

yo im hunting for a camera... but hope this helps. I was worried about the bens of the intake with puddling. Also where you mounted looks like a pain to mount the nozzle. I guess i was just real excited to get it installed. When i close the hood the nozzles sit right after the hood would squash. you can see the lines from inside the car. It's a small hole and i can easily put it where you did, i just wanna make sure i can just tape the intake up so i dont have a leak where i have the nozzle right now. or i could just go cobra R hood!

Na the kit came with a special fitting that replaces the schrader valve, it looks pretty cool... im not trying to hide it! you know if someones sprayin or not!

i thought about underneath but that would be a pain in the arse to change jets. that side locating seem promising.

my location isn't neccessarily a bad location ive already sprayed and it was fun, but the mere fact that i have it on top of the intake tube makes me uneasy.

the reason i didnt do it from the side from the getgo is that im running 150 shot and i was concerned about the angle of the gen 1 intake tube if you put it before the bend. where mercury posted its before the bend. ive gone through the whole bottle of the 150 shot, no problems. it doesnt last long at all. ;-)

but thanks all for the info and the pictures...
