That price is for 2 of them...so it's not that bad.
my nankangs were over 200 each.

I have heard of them but I dont know much about the brand. You also might want to check the tread wear rating to make see approx mileage life. Also I thought you had 20x10 in the back Would a 295 or 305 would look better? THe reason I say that back in my mustang days everone wanted the cobra R wheel which was a 17x9 with a 275 wide tire in the rear.

the 275's are about the widest I can go due to be having the eibachs. if I went 295 I would rub badly. I already had to roll the little inner fender lip on the rears.... my plan is to bag the LS soon, so if I could bag it and control the ride height I would go with the wider tire. Any other suggestions?

ask the seller for the numbers on the sidewall that start with DOT.

If those are not DOT approved tires they will shread or you will get a cracked side wall like I did after 5K miles on all 4 of my tires that I bought brand new!!! You need to watch out for these no name tires they are trying to sell in the US.

Great Tires! Closest thing they would compare to is the Michelin PS P2 with better tread wear. They are very quiet and have very good wet weather capabilities. Their US distribution network is just getting off the ground. Here in Charlotte I'm lucky. Distributor is only a couple of miles away. Depending on where you live that may be a problem if you have any warranty or road hazard issues. If I hadn't gotten such a great deal on my Nitto's I would have gotten these.

ive lived in europe for a while and nothing over here is poor quality.. youre more likely to find poor qual in the us before here.. western europe at least.. not to mention... this is where some of the greatest cars in the world originated... why build a supreme car and put crap shoes on it... makes no sense.... the tires he is looking at are very high quality.

I've got to disagree... I lived in Europe for quite a while as well. I've seen just as sh!tty tires there as I have here. And I've seen just as sh!tty cars there as here.

Interesting to note... most european autos of the higher quality come equipped with Michelin or Pirelli tires... even when they never make it across the pond.

Vredesteins have been around. I remember them way back when I got hooked on Pirelli's. I would have to give the thumb up. Beats the hell out of the goofy idea of some of the asian cheap junk that everyone is mindlessly buying because it's cheap. That review that midi junkie posted gives them kudos too, if the guy that used to use the Eagle F1's liked them that good, they aren't bad.....

Just because a tire doesn't last as long as another doesn't make it a bad tire. Was it reliable, did it handle/grip/stick, how did they respond to steering input, how did they ride, did they inspire confidence or were they just good enough to hold air and last 40k? I've been dealing with this for decades with Pirelli. All people can gripe about is how they don't outlast something else and that they're expensive. The car is only as good as the rubber you put on it. I won't compromise my choice in tires. As long as I'm not changing them every 10-12k, I'll take the performance, build quality and all the other kudos that go with it over whether or not they last as long as something I'd hate everytime I threw the car into a corner or needed to stop fast.....
