Ive had a set on the front of my car for about 3 weeks now, about 350 miles of driving on them mostly in town. Ive got this vibration that has been going on since I put these rotors on, so I know its related. It is NOT a shimmy, shake, or wobble like a warped rotor. Its a vibration. Sounds and feels like a wheel bearing, but it only does it when the brakes are applied. The harder I press on the brakes the louder it gets. If I let off the brakes completely, it goes away completely. This is most prominent between 30 and 20 mph when braking, but I can feel and hear it at any speed when I apply the brakes. This also gets worse as the rotors get warmed up.
I'm wondering, is this just a characteristic of these rotors? Or might I have gotten a bum set from EBC?
Ive sent an email to EBC asking them about this, but Im also looking for some input from others who might have used them.
