Anybody have this happen? Brake fluid loss

hahaha, today...i decided to look into my cars mysterious usage of brake fluid...ran 25ft of brake line including the LF line to the ABS unit, that all went great until about a week later my brake light came on. Bitter at this point just kept topping up until finally i decided that $5 a week for fluid is getting kind ridiculous, So today i got it up on the hoist and got underneath it to see where it was leaking...low and behold it was coming from the ABS unit, the unit is leaking between the motor/pump and the aluminum base where the lines hook up...

All i can say is what a chore that is gonna be, good thing i stocked up on brake line, cause chances are im gonna have more lines to replace that goto the unit and connect in the battery tray area at the rad support..ah well to bad...

Any other mark viii guys see this before?

Good luck with that. You're going to need a FORD tool like an NG Star tester to properly bleed that ABS pump.

I have a tool to bleed them if you need, pm me if you want, hopefully we aren't to far apart...

i guess ill cross that road when i get there...gotta get the unit swapped first, if i have to take it in to get it bled after ill deal with it..

if I'm not crazy I think thats where my 93 was leaking brake fliud and it turned out to be the one of the recall problems and the dealer fixed it no leaking anymore
