pics attached.
This should be oem paint, and im not sure how thick of a clear ford painted these vehicles back then..
It looks like its gone down to the primer, the white spots at first i thought were paint drops but are actually craters from i dont know where.
The car sat for years in mild climate weather without wax for a long time, not sure if i need to dig into it with a da, compound and pad? or does it need a repaint?
When the car is wet, the hood looks immaculate gloss black even that huge white spot.. so im wondering if its a clear coat needs polished down.
Looking at the pics closer i see small black circles, like that white layer is just a top layer that can be cut down???
Those that know about this paint is appreciated. thanks
