Any adjustment on Exterior Door handles?

My drivers side exterior door handle is getting pretty loose, it doesn't snap back in like it should and just doesn't feel solid any more.

It seems easy enough to remove but is there any way of fixing it? Or am I just ready to yank it out and get another?

The one on my daughter's 2000 has been that way for about 6 years. I even bought a replacement that is still in the box just waiting for the old one to fail.

There is no adjustment.

Blah...thought so.

It has been like that since I got it...infact the paint is chipped on the inside of it..but it's getting worst quick.

Guess I'll have to hunt a good one down.
