Any 2005 LS Sports?

Looking for anyone with a 2005 Sport V8.

See alot of 03 and 04,, but no 05's.

I have a charcoal '05 sport but I have changed it to look exactly like a '06 model by changing to LSE style bumpers,grille ,rear spoiler ,etc and '06 chrome wheels as well ...... (still have the '05 wheels & bumper covers and will probably sell them ) .Added xm to the factory deck and just trying to decide what wheels to go with ....it will be either 20's or 22's . I was thinking bling but now looking for maybe a mesh style but in 20" ....hard time finding anything decent in our bolt pattern in a mesh 20"

Sounds nice,, just wanted to see why there are no 05 talked bout here,,lol

They don't really have the endemic problems of the earlier LSes. They're imperfect machines built by imperfect humans, so any of them can have problems, but there really aren't any major "gotchas" like there are with some earlier models. If you do the same basic checks you'd do with any modern car, you should be OK.

Figured an 05 will have less issues than my 00. "that really hasn't been bad" but at 144,000 on the clock, time to get rid of it before it becomes a mess..lol

Just wanted to know,, since on here I see 03,04 and 06,, but not many people talking about their 05's.

'04 was the last year that they made a tranny adjustment. That is what I went with.

I actually have an '06. I think part of the reason you see more '06es than '05s is the huge fire sale at the end of the '06 MY ($17K off MSRP is a big temptation), so people jumped from their earlier LSes directly to the '06es instead of moving up to the '05s they might otherwise have considered.
