Anti-Lock light on

My anti lock light came on when I started it and stayed on and won't go off. Also I can not turn trac control back off I can push the button and it still says off. Any one know what my issue might be. And if it is a sensor how would I test it.

Traction control turns off automatically, because it uses the wheel speed sensors also. You need a scanner that does ABS. Connector is located in front of the passenger side upper radiator core support. Under the plastic shroud cover.

On a 94, the ABS diagnostic connector is similar to the EEC IV OBD1 connector. You can use a the same kind of code reader to get the codes from either one. A $19 Actron reader will work for both.

The code translations are available in the factory service manual, if you can get your hands on one.

So I need to get it scanned. I thought the ses light would come on if it had a code, but I guess since it is a abs thing then it would throw that light.

Check the wiring for sensors, I had the same issue come to find out the stock wheel rubbed the insulation off and shorted out the sensor.
