another console speaker thread

i have aquired a set of pioneer 4" speakers for free, will they fit in the console of my 2000 ls with alpine stereo?
i have a pioneer head unit, mb quart 6x9`s in the rear and a 10" jl w3.
i have a 350/1 rms alpine amp and a 50x4 alpine amp

There was a thread about the center console speakers fairly recently. IIRC, Quik said he was using speakers in the center console that were larger than the ~2.5" stock units. If you search for center console speakers, and restrict it to posts by QuikLS, you should find it.

You are going to have to trim alot to make them fit. I am using 3.5 and the covers barely fit on.

If you modify it to fit they will. Be creative I am sure you can make them work. You can make anything work with duct tape

im just wondering if it iwll make a big diffrence, i have 50 watts rms going to my 6x9`s and 200 rms going to my w3, however i will hook these up to the alpine 4 channel and turn the gain down cause they only hold 20 watts rms
