took me awhile to jump on the bandwagon but finally cleared my corners, put in some silverstar tinted turn signal bulbs, and the clear sidemarkers from that whack Taiwanese eBay seller. don't pay attention to the rest of the car as she's pretty damn dirty, this is pre-detailed lol. i'm not super happy with how there's a noticeable gap between the chrome strip and markers, these custom markers look to be slightly less wide than the stock markers, so that kind of sucks but whatever.

next mod will be a red or blue Lincoln emblem (any opinions? im leaning towards blue) and potentially black out the surround on the grille.

looks nice Steve. the side marker looks like the stock size to me. finally did the headlights as well?

yeah, took me long enough :D i cleaned them out as good as i could... there was still some permanent crap on the plastic i couldn't get rid of but for the most part they look better now. decided not to use the gorilla glue for the broken clips after all,l because if i want to swap the bulbs later it's going to be a pain in the ass. they seem pretty solid without all the screws in so i'm not too worried about it.

Looking good. I would also stick with the black or do the red. Blue is just to rice but what ever floats your boat.

I noticed the other guy with the non-sport had the issue with the sidemarker/bumper lens not being long enough. Now I'm wondering what problems may exist with the sport lens.

Wait, what clips.

If it is the tab that we talked about you could glue it to the headlight and take the headlight out to replace the turn signal bulbs without any worry.

The one thing is that I would use a epoxy rather then Gorilla glue. I found the Gorilla glue don't hold as well as it should and after taking the headlight out a few times it gave.

The headlights stay in good without that screw but they wont sit flush with the fender.

the driver's side light has two broken connections - that strip on top that holds one of the 3 screws, and the one in the back corner, on the bottom of the light, that holds another screw. it's being held in only by the screw that goes over the plastic cover near the radiator. i'll try to take some pics to show the broken connection... i'm pretty sure that it won't be possible to epoxy them then take the headlight off later but i may be wrong. fortunately the passenger side light has no issues and all 3 screws are in fine.

Yeah I know exactly what ones. The one on top and the one near the fender.

The screws are what hold the light to the car so you are fine. Just epoxy them back on to the light as if they never came off.

Its not like you are epoxying anything to the actual car.

that's true. well, another rainy day project :D
as for the emblem i think i'll stick with black for now. thought blue would contrast nicely against all the silver/chrome look but i'm going to do some photochopping tonight to get a better idea.

Real quick before I have to leave. I did a search here on emblems when mine were stolen and I found that you can clear the black off and just paint that.

The blue would look nice with the silverstar turn signals too.

JWerner man, I have to disagree with you on this one. I think the blue will look a lot sharper than red...two blue emblems does not equal rice.

But this is not fact, this is based on opinion.

So I respect what has been said:D

They just remind me of those cheap blue Honda emblems. Stuff like that just don't appeal to me personally.

I'm gonna get one of those spoilers like in you sig, jwerner. can you imagine how FAST my LS would be? :p

Can we call you Wingo:p ?

Just to clear things up, I hope you know I have that there just for fun.

When they rolled up in the Movie CARS all I did was laugh my ass off. I followed that up with a " Oh no they did not go that far " while I was taking a breath and started laughing again:lol: .

On a side note I got my emblems in. I am trying to talk the wife into going to a nice parkway or something so I can get some shots up.
I am actually pretty excited about it!

Yep. I laugh every time I see it. I always laugh at the part where they wake up the semi truck that's falling asleep.

Wait, you're finally going to take some proper pictures? This I have to see...

Oh its coming. I told you once my emblems came and the weather dried up. And man it is dry over here! The one thing is I never got it lowered yet since the guy fell back on me and never responded.

My Car Needs To Have Clear Lights Too, The Fog and has mest up my headlights, they are all dirty and stuff, Is There a thread Step by step on how to clear the lights? i Dont even know how to remove the lights.

Sure jk.

Don its simple, if you have the grey glue anyway.

Look for the angel eye DIY on LSK. It will tell you how to open and then seal them. All you have to do is improv your way of cleaning the lens. I would use plast-x.

EDIT: Thanks Pektel.

may be a stupid question, but if you need 2 open your lights and already have angel eyes installed, does this affect the halos at all?? the heat that is.

I Got The Gray Glue, so Thats Good news, I Will try To do it this weekend, see how it comes out, use "plast-x" to clean the inside? i was also thinking of painting the thing white? what do you think? Also What Bulb do you recomend me buying? i see ppl buy different bulbs and stuff.

Plast-X I found some 3M stuff that worked well once also.

I would use the chrome bulbs but the Sylvania are nice. Be careful of the cheap chrome coating on the inside reflector/shroud thing. I found that if you wipe it it can come off easy and I also found that oils on your fingers can damage them also.
