Installed my new shift knob I got from Alex:

Crappy cell phone pics. I should haul out the 4x5 but I'm far too lazy.

If anyone has a shift knob to spare, mine was damaged and is no good to Alexander. The knob is very nice and he has been so patient I would like to find him one if I can.

same here, it looks great, it just needs the chrome button to accent the wood.

$110 is the cost. Chrome knob ... really. Not me.

That is beautiful! But I'm also agreed on the wood button. It needs the chrome button to contrast with the wood knob. The wood button just doesn't look quite right.

Nope all 95s and on had the chrome button..mine does as well..I'm surprised you guys want MORE wood in there, most people delete the wood trim, I guess mark viii owners think differently though. Yeah the wood knob looks nice but I think there's enough wood grain in our interiors as it is..anything more is kind of overkill IMO of course.

Nope. My '96 base had a chrome button.

It does stick out further than my stock one but driving around it's just about a perfect thumb rest. The wood feels nice, I would not want a metal one, well maybe a gold one. Gold feels nice too if it's over 18 carat.
