so i wired up my car speakers and my subs to two different amps. The car speakers are wired to my 760 watt pioneer amp and the subs wired to a 1200 watt sony explod. It drained my almost new optima red top battery pretty quickly.Do i need a capacitor or what?

you can not run a system in any car for a period of time with the car running. The alt is what charges the batt when the car is running. So if you do not have anything to recharge the system when its off. So if u want to run the system with the car off you will have to add a second batt in the back that just supply's the amps and nothing else.

I did two two channel amps do i really need a four chan to run the interior speakers

Why do you want to buy a 4 channel amp when you already spent money on two 2 channel amps?

Yes do a 2ch or a 1ch for the subs, and a 4ch for the interior speakers. By using a 2ch to do 4 interior speakers you are decreasing the ohms resistance which creates more power from the amp, but also draws more power from you car to create that power.

well i didnt pay for the amps, but all is good know went and bought a kenwood 4/3/2 chaneel amp.I have everything hooked up it sound good i left the tweeters hooked up to the jbl until i finally wire them up.

I think you need to do some research into the basic principles of 12v electronics, then into car audio...

Go peruse 12volt.com for a while

Until then I hope you don't ruin anything

You need a deep cycle battery you should have got a yellow top. i have three amps. one 1500 kenwood and two 750 alpines
all i have is a yellow top deep cycle battery i can play mine for about thirty mins with the car off without putting to much of load on my alt.
