I'm just waiting on a passenger side air strut to arrive, then I'm taking the VIII into the dealer for a 4-wheel alignment.
I was wondering if anyone has suggestions for numbers for the car that work well, but won't kill the tires?
I do drive faster than most and enjoy pushing the car into turns etc, so would like a setup perhaps ideal for that?
I have the car lowered and have the 1 1/4" Addco bars front and rear and the 20" tires.
I've been reading and searching and have found some info, but it seems most info is based off the TCCoA tech article. I've found those numbers incorrect according to the Ford manuals I have. The few post I've read where people have actually used them, it seems it's cambered in too much and wears the tires and thats about all I've heard of them. Eddie had some good posts on the one forum, but didn't really suggest any numbers.
I'd like to hear what everyone is actually running for numbers and how you like it, and what you have for equipment on your cars please.
The settings I was thinking of trying were:
Camber -0.5* to -0.6* front and rear.
Caster maxed at far as I can get it + on the front.
Toed-in +0.12* front, and +0.06* rear (this is each side, double for total.)
Thanks everyone
