The manual vent most people talk about is if you have a aftermarket spider valve, you can apply voltage at the solenoid to vent the bags as well as the trigger wire at the air ride control like a rays switch.

That's kinda what's happening to mine. It sits fine, but I adjusted my front height sensors as high as they would go in the slotted bracket and then drilled new holes about 1/2" higher and relocated the brackets higher and it still doesn't sit as low as it should. I don't get it either. I did the same procedure on my '96 with the same Arnott front shocks and it dropped at least 1-1/2" lower. I haven't had time lately, but I plan to fiddle with it a little more next time I have a day off with nothing else on my agenda. This weekend is booked:) That's why I'm seriously considering the possibility of wiring a potentiometer into the height sensors and see if that would work to raise or lower the height. Any electricians out there think this might be a possibility?

Vent is a small solenoid in the compressor.
Its the blue and white wire.

You can vent each bag manually if the vent in the compressor is plugged " common problem."

Pull the lines off at compressor, put 12 volts to the bag you want to vent, or bags with a switch so you can let out only the amount of air you desire.
