So i'm going to move my car yesterday and it was parked on slightly uneven ground. it looked like the rear passenger was really jacked up and i thought it was odd. and as soon as i started it up the compressor kicked in and the rear started rising. i tried to pull forward and the car wouldnt move. the passenger tire spun a little but didnt go forward. the compressor was still going so i got out of the car and looked at it, noticed it was still going so popped the trunk and hit the switch. it stopped right away. i have never had this happen before and the front air suspension didnt move. it really looked like it couldnt possibly go up any further. (like that asham 8 thing when fully jacked up) i took it for a ride with the switch off and it didnt go down. so i stopped and turned the switch on and drove for a bit and it went back down. hasnt done it again today, but what the hell? anyone ever have the same problem? what would keep it from moving forward like that? i am stumped.

although i did not have the issue you describe I am rebuilding my suspension due to something similar...right rear spring would not hold any air....in short it was feeling like the trans was slipping, and on a slight incline it would not move....wife happened to remark on my the fact that the right tire was just free spinning. Upon inspection with the car on level ground I was able to kick a 1/2 think board under the right rear tire (chocked the front and had it in neutral)....moral of the story, the air suspension provides downforce to the tires....with the open diff if the weight is not distributed you will be screwed.

I have had mine occasionly do funny things like over-inflation, I usually do the same thing, kill the switch for awhile then turn it back on, it usually corrects itself. I don't know if it's a glitch in the SCM or what, maybe an issue with a height sensor, it's really hard to say!

Same thing happened to my front suspension the bracket that the height sensor connects to was real worn so the sensor would keep popping off and fully extending making the computer think the car was slammed to the ground so it would just keep pumping air into the airbags untill it noticed there was a problem and it said check air suspension. The rear sensor is on the left side you should start by checking that.
