Air intake

So, what can i do to this? Is there a custom intake i can add? I would love better access to the areas this covers up.

Also, what the hell did the previous owner do to it? looks he cut part of the assembly off and plugged it with some piece of junk he had laying around. lol

Hack saw, palm sander and fiberglass. Other than that there really is no true aftermarket one. I trimmed mine, glassed and painted it. It was the first time I glassed so it’s not to pretty but better then having those lungs attached to it.

How difficult is it to fiberglass that sucker. Ive never used fiberglass but would like to remove the second resivior and give it a nice glossy paint job. Anyone know any good instructional fiberglass sites, perferablly a similar application.

I'd just use epoxy..... I have two half done tubes that I did that way...
