I'm not really a mechanic of any kind but if the task is simple enough I'll take a shot at it. The task is removing the silencer in a '94. I hear it makes the car sound much better and that many owners do it with relative ease. Can anyone describe how this is done, if it is not to involved I'll give it a shot. Thanks in advance.

its fairly simple......just a matter of removing the air box and I think there is 3 bolts/nuts holding the air silencer in below the air box. after that is removed you have the task of pulling it out, to do that you need to remove the passenger front tire, remove the fender lining and then use brute force to pull that sob out. It won't come out easily, you'll need to turn, pull, and swear at it (or at least I did)
