Well tonight, actually yesterday now I decided to sit down and lay the 3m tape on the CF b-pillar insert that way later I could put them on the LS. Well the tape is good, but I freaking forgot I should of used adhesive because I let it sit a few and just checked and it comes off pretty easy:( . I hate these things already. Well advanced have adhesive and maybe some wider or varities of 3m?

The pieces came w/ two packets of adhesive and I used one when I tried the first time to install, KEN, well the remaining pieces STAY on the pillar w/out the adhesive?

dude Your not having any luck with these hmmmm.....I say since you have to start over again....put the tape on the pillars and then stick the pieces on to the tape...Maybe a little easier....Just My $.02 cents.....

The packets are NOT adhesive. They are adhesive PROMOTER. Basically, it helps the 3M adhesive tape adhere better. However, when I put my carbon fiber B-Pillar inserts on I didn't use it. Just cleaned it with alcohol and stuck them on.

OK, not adhesive lol. Going to Advance to get things for the oild change and I'm going to get a can of it anyway and redo the tape on the insert because its not sticking well.

I thought and doing the tape on the pillar and than putting the insert on. Going to try the way I did it last time, just going to MAKE sure like no other its going on right this time. Got plenty of tape so if I do manage to flip this up again than I still get another chance. May the force be w/ me :)

Well I'm giving up and cutting my loss'. Went out and spent more money on stuff to help bond the tape to the piece, came home and got to work and it just got crappy from there. Some how the piece is scratched up(not bad) but it is not what I want on the car now, I was taken care of it while trying to fix it and some how its f'd up!

All I can do is smile, no use in getting po'd again, I think I'll go grad a beer(and I don't drink).
