Come to California...iT'S About 80 degrees over here....
Your brakes will love this weather!!!!!!!!!:dancefool

ive been going through this for months now. Is what i did was took the light out and got some caulk. On the back youll notice alot of creases, like where the harness plugs in. I caulked all of those. I did this last weekend and weve had rain for a week now and no bulb has gone out. So i think i got it.

I had the same problem. I went to Lowe's or Home Depot (don't remember which) and they had sealant that specifically indicated it could be used on headlights and tail lights and was waterproof. I can look and see if I see the exact one when I get a chance. But, that was only half the problem. Just like you said, I resealled the crack and a couple days later bam burned out. What I found is that you have to be very precise on sealing that crack. If you get too much excess, it will leave an ever so small opening. So be very careful to isolate and seal the cracks in the light. I had to go back and xacto and sand the first application off just to make sure everything was clean and even. It may mean that you have to apply it in coats, remove excess, let cure and go again. Oh yeah, don't get too comfortable, the core problem is the design. So, in another year or so, whatever you used to seal it will eventually melt and succomb to another crack in it. You have to love these cars to keep them. The funny thing is that in the many years I've had this car, I still haven't had to replace the driver's side tail light bulb yet!!!

Like someone said..the crack is most likely in one of the creases. Thats where mine was. Look CAREFULLY.
