So you guys at LvC are pretty helpful and have been able to assist me in the past. So I come to you for advice.
I really want a 99-2001 cadillac STS.
I also really want a bike.
I currently have a 1993 Lincoln Mark8, with about 110,000 miles on it.
My problem is I don't know if I should start saving for a bike or an STS.
Right now I don't even have a job lol, but i have $1,200 put away from graduation. What I'm thinking my best bet is to do is right now use the 1,200 to invest into my mark8 just get a cd player for it, fix up the little things here and there like I have been and get it in nice condition maybe a sound system nothing fancy. Just so I have something nice to drive for the next 2 years. Over those 2 years I'll obviously get a job and save some money. Use the money I have saved up by next summer for a bike. Ride that bike and drive the mark8 for another year. Sell the mark8 and use the money I have earned in that year to buy something a little nicer. I'm hopeing I'll have a job within a month or so. I do work for this guy cleaning up construction sites but he only calls once every other month and thats not a very steady paycheck.
Any advice on what I should do? I know bikes can be pretty cheap if you buy them used you can get a nice one for like less than $4,000. Thanks for any advice.
