Advance Trac add-on

I have a 2001 LS8 with basic traction control and I was wondering if it was possible to upgrade it to the Advance trac. From what I understand the only hardware difference would be the yaw and steering wheel sensors.

Would it be possible to add these on, using the existing pcm, throttle and brake control?
