Hello-
Car in question: 3.9 2001 LS sport (build date sept. 2000) without audiophile option.
After reading through this forum, it appears some had enclosed tray subs, some were just mounted to the rear deck itself, and in this case there are no rear subs at all.
My question is, if an enclosed unit (or non-enclosed if preferable) from a salvage yard is found, is it a fairly easy install and plug and play situation?
There does appear to be the electrical connector on the left side in trunk.
Do the enclosed units sound any better than un-enclosed?
Many thanks for any advice or input.
