I have lately little problem, if anyone can help me...

When I turn my AC on 60% it blows fine for few min/seconds than turns into hot air; especially when i'm driving. Im not sure what that is, i went to a dealer they said it will cost around 120$ bucks for just checking. I was not happy about that, I told them when I drive and lets say i stop at red light, i can feel cold air blowing, but when i drive with ac on it blows hot air, and the more i press on the peddles it blows hotter. I was thinking if i need to change free-on I believe what it calls. Anyway can anyone help me out. thanks

It used to be called Freon. That was the trademark name for R-12. The LS like all cars from the mid-90's and newer uses R-134a.

However, from your symptoms, that is unlikely to be your problem.

You could have two problems going on. Put the climate control on full heat (90 degrees, not percent) and see if the heat gets less hot at idle than when you are driving. If so, you probably have air trapped in your cooling system. If it wasn't worked on recently, that probably means you have a leak somewhere.

As for the fact that you get hot air when you should get cold, that is most likely a failed DCCV.
