abs light on

not sure why. i checked the fluid level and it was perfect, the brakes seem to work fine. however there is a bit of a squeeking sound from the dirvers side front brake when i apply pressue, and this is at a dead stop. any one got any ideas?

you're getting a squeak from the calipers at a dead stop? That's VERY strange and I would get it looked at ASAP.
