Just took my 05' LS V8 on vacation for the first time. Drove from Chicagoland to New York City, what a great trip. ( car was parked in NY) My LS pleasantly surprized me by getting 27 mpg. Taking my car through the mountains of Pennsylvania and the winding roads of Ct. was a truly amazing experience. This was my first time since buying the car last June that I've had the chance to take the car on a long cruise on the open road...
The ride was comfortable, the heated/cooled seats were very nice. The car was soo responsive when needed. A Semi popped part of his tire on his truck and I had to manuever quickly to avoid it, and did w/o hesitation. Felt very safe.
