I would like to thank the forum. I have replaced my valve cover gaskets and coil packs along with the plugs. Without the help from members here I would have never attempted the repairs myself. In addition the stock lug nuts have been replaced. There is one last job to do which is replacing brake fluid. I have done this before on other cars so no biggie. My question is because of the advance trak. Do i need a scan tool to cycle the ABS components or do I just have to have the car running ? Thanks.

Neither. You can do it with the engine on or off. It's just a little easier to push the pedal with the engine on. You won't get every last drop of brake fluid exchanged, but you will get most of it.
