I'm trying to get some opinions on this.... I broke the clip on my driver's side headlight but I'm anal so instead of just gorilla gluing it I bought a scuffed headlight off of ebay for ten dollars to swap it for the back. Anyways what I'm getting to is since I have to take my headlight apart again, should I paint my bezels to match my car or leave them the gloss black that they are currently painted to match my grille? http://www.lincolnvscadillac.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=35792&stc=1&d=1214199757

if you paint the bezels white that would be really cool in my opinion but if you do that black eyelids are a must, and maybe painting the lower grill and tinting the foglights. maybe even gloss black mirrors.

I would leave the bezel black. With the white car a little contrast up front does you well and it might be too bland white if the bezels are white. I had also pondered this idea but I have Ivory with the angel eyes. Would there be damage caused baking the headlights with angel eyes rings inside to take them apart?

White and Silver cars should not have matched bezels IMO. Darker colors and more unique colors work great! I was about to do mine then I figured it is way to light and would end up with virtually no contrast points.

If you do paint them, paint the grille otherwise the grille would really, really look way off.

+1. I do not like the color matched bezels on light cars.

take the bezel and the grill surround to white to color match the car...... and get 03-06 fogs with the part around the circle color matched...... tkae calipers off and dremel them to a gloss polished shine

i say paint them to match the car... the white head light bezels look sick imo!

No I have baked them before with them in with no problems. I was thinking either the color matched bezels or leaving them the gloss black I have them painted now and getting carbon fiber eyelids

Ok so I was thinking about getting the carbon fiber eyelids but only if I can match the grille with it does anyone know if the carbon fiber sheets will go on the grille evenly or not?

That carbon fiber on white is way to much noise IMO but you should be able to find some kind of sheets that would work. Look around for ones that fit and heat shrink if possible.

Ok so scratch the carbon fiber idea. I'm still thinking about eyelids though either black to match the grille or the same color as the car. What do you guys think?

Most of us that have lighter colored cars don't do eyebrows cause of the point in which the seem between the eyebrow and the hood are much more visible.

Regardless of that if you still must do it I say paint them. It looks like a unfinished project otherwise.

I've noticed that I haven't really seen too many lighter colored LSes with the eyelids, but the one I did see on here was also pearl white and they were the same color as the car and looked amazing. I'm looking for a grille and if I find one in perfect condition I don't think I'm going to take the chrome off.
