a few days ago I was next to this little yellow ( Car ) had a funky looking wing spoiler on it, if he would of had a Black stripe on it it would of looked like a Bumble Bee, it sure sounded like one. anyway when the lite turned green I took off slow and so did he but I was about 5 car links ahead keeping my eye on him then at about 30 mph I hear this winding and he was catching up fast, so I stepped on it an my car stayed in 2nd gear and he was at my Quarter panel but as my rpm s reached the power point I was gone and he was a little yellow speck on the mirror.

WAHOO!! That little yellow thing coulda been a dune buggy!!!

No he said it looked like bumble bee. So it a yellow jacket or a butterfly. I have seen a ton of them lately.:N

We don't know what it is, you saw it, it coulda been a wasp or bumble bee for all we know.

I am thinking neon or a cobalt for some reason reading that.

I doubt a lotus would be that far behind.

Was the spoiler real high up? Same color as car? Did it look older or somewhat new? Round or boxy?

Round Like A Bumble Bee

It looks to have a spoiler wing combo (a high spoiler) I seen 2 more but but they had very small spoilers on them. And they too were yellow and are Chevys

Regular 2.2 Ecotec Cavalier does mid 15's, some in the low 15's. Cobalts are slighty slower w/ the 2.2, than the SS 2.4 is alittle quick good for low 15's, possibly high 14's but chances are they would run right about 15.3-.8. The SS SC w/ the SC 2.0 would probably take a LS.

I am assuming the car if it was a Cavalier would be mid '02 or newer. The older 2.2's were nothing like the Eco's of today. Cobalt would be an Eco since they hit in '04/'05.

I think there is a new chevy that kind of resembles that Dodge car that's in every ad in every magazine. I don't remember the name, but they are both equally ugly.
