From the looks of the video, it appears the rustang got him off the line and probably held him down.

The last race in the video (the blue roush blown stang) yeah the angle is deceiving but my lincoln is not keeping up with a 13 second stang. I did race a stock gt, and I stayed right on his back bumper.
