Just a few questions, I can delete thread after if need be. But I've been searching for hours with no luck so far.

Looking to see if they make clear bumper lights for a 2000 LS V8 non-sport, I found a pair on ebay but they say it's for a sport model...difference?

Also, 03+ tail lights fit on 2000...?

& I saw a pic of a member where it looked like he had red mounts for the rear diff, obviously not OEM, haven't had luck finding a thread or parts...custom I'm guessing?

Just looking to change the look up on this early LS, & get as much info as I can...I've been searching pretty much every day & getting a lot of good info so far.

I know for a fact the tail lights are different on the trunk, they are smaller and are just reflectors on 03+. I am assuming the other half would fit. If it is the two toned look that you want I remember seeing picture of a gen 1 with two tone gen 1 tails. Not sure how available that would be these days.
 
1) You CANNOT delete a thread after you create it, only moderators can do so.

2)Clear markers: The pair you found should fit, there shouldn't be a difference but someone will correct me if im wrong.

3)03+ tail lights will not fit without modifying the trunk lid and panels i believe and a bunch of other things. Not worth the trouble IMO. There are 2 tone tails that were made for the Gen 1 (mclaren) but they are super rare. Theres a set for sale on ebay for $500+.

The front bumper markers are NOT the same, that's why he listed them for the sport model only... If you check his other auctions, he usually sells the non-sport(base V-6,V-8) clear markers also.

To do the 1 gen to 2 gen tail light conversion properly, you need to replace the outer tail lights, swap the rear deck lid (rear surrounds are shaped differently, and the rear bumper. all bolt up, just have to find the parts.

I assumed that was a "in process of swap" pic.... Are you keeping them that way???
 
You might need to measure a set and call Energy Suspension. I'm sure the already do, or can, make them, just don't list them for that application.
