I ordered the trunk lock cover decal kit from Geno and a Mark VIII plate frame off eBay last week and installed them today. Much better! Also gave the car a fresh bath.

Also installed my DDM 4300k kit that I had from my old car.

Let me know what you think!

i think id try to find a set of 96 lsc headlights. your car looks really good man, some different wheels would really set it off too. i do like the color too

Thanks! I was actually looking into LSC headlights but don't have enough dough for them right now. Before the headlights I would want to lower it, although tint is a necessity down here.

I did buy some paint from automotivetouchup.com to match my car. I am going to do the grille body-colored. I would like to get the chrome strips from the parts store to re-do the moulding and bumper chrome strips. Anyone had luck with that?

Heard you just pry it off gently with screw driver.

I'd get some pieces from a scrap yard to investigate with first though

The chrome strips on the doors and quarters are flat. The bumpers are more of a wedge type moulding. You can just pry off the chrome slowly. Then clean off the tape residue that is left.

Nice, looks good..oddly enough I just redid my trunk lock cover emblem today too..I really like that aquamarine blue on your car, looks good in that light, and I would deffinetly tint those windows, that'll be one of the next things I add to mine.

You southern guys are so lucky...paint looks really good. I got paint chips from salt and im pretty sure rust holds the car together.

i did it this past summer, i replaced both sides. i am gonna replace the front bumpers chrome when it gets warmer. its not that hard but have patience so you don't get frustrated and accidentally chip some paint off. nice looking car, +1 for that color too

I'm jealous. I wanted a china blue Mark soo bad before I got mine. Never could find one. I do like my fancy peeling midnight opal though

Great pics!

Thanks everyone. Today I replaced the chrome on the rear bumper and side molding and also re-painted the side moldings. Came out pretty damn good if I do say so myself:

I accidentally took a corner off attempting to get behind it and pry/cut slowly. It was so sun-baked that it tore right off but I am going to double-sided tape and silicone it back on (shoulda just taped off the area and sprayed from the beginning). The chrome inserts had no chrome left and the outer body-colored ones were burned by the sun... Look at the differences between the driver's door and qp moldings after a simple mod that took an hour... with waiting for paint to dry
