Just planning things out for the new LS (shopping around for a nice 06).
Definitely going with the RotorPro package (center-painted rotors, SS lines, ceramic pads) and ATE Super Blue fluid.

1) How much fluid do I need to flush the system? I think I found a post mentioning 2qts.
2) Would caliper covers work on the LS? ( http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/4X-C...ptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories )

Many TIA!

2 quarts is about average for all vehicles I've seen.

As for calipers, I've been fairly happy with the stock braking pressure. I'm in the process of upgrading to some of the lower temp ceramic pads to eliminate the bit of fade in the stock pads. I don't create enough heat in my brakes (gotta use em to create heat ;)) to warrant the high temp racing pads. I'd never get them hot enough to be fully effective.

The LS works very well at stock and I would personally get the car, drive it and see exactly what you want to impove and how before setting any plans in stone.

Thanks for the reply. Already know how the LS handles (owned an 01 LS V8 Sport - owned because it got hit and was sold to a yard last week). :(

I would think in high performance/extreme applications those could cause less airflow around the caliper and allow extra heat buildup causing the fluid to break down faster.

Unless you can score a set of calipers from a bone yard.
