New to the site, really like it, my LS is having weird A/C problems, it was working fine and started acting up. I have pinched the DCCV hose to isolate it from the system. i took it to an A/C shop and he said refrigerant was fine and the system is condensing, he thought it might be the compressor or the expansion valve. the a/c works if your on the highway but it stops at idle. Any one had this problem, any way i can test the system or run a diagnostic on it?

Got this from another thread that helped me alot,

With the car on and the AC system off, hold the OFF and FLOOR buttons in for a few seconds, then release them and press auto quickly. A self test will run. If it ends in all "8"s on the display, then everything passed. If not, it will display error codes.

It does sound like a bad compressor. This can be verified with some pressure gauges.
