Is the clock in the dash supposed to be illuminated?

yeah it is, when the lights are on. I just seen a brand new one on ebay for 9.99

The clock bulb is replaceable. The dealer charged me $3.99 but it had a unique base which I couldn't find in auto stores.

How do you replace the bulb in the clock?
