97 mark viii driver side cat

i need to know whats the best way to remove it i have many tools but i dont have a shop.I just brought another mark white lsc and it needs the driver side cat replaced i need to know whats the best way to take it out besides removing the engine

I took one out while the engine and kframe were still in the car... my suggestion, get 2 universal joints, locking extentions, and some penetrating lube... have fun

Took me about 1 hour to have it out of the car...

sounds good kk but could you tell me a little more like what you moved out the way and stuff and like which way you got it out

Didn't move anything... I just unbolted it fromthe y pipes, cut the EGR tube, unbolted it and pulled it out...
